Formentin Logistica e Trasporti was born in 1955 as a transport company focused on distribution in the retail business of footwear, especially on the Nord-east of Italy. Our recipients were stores located mostly in downtown, to whom we accurately provided a dedicated service. The respect of the punctuality and the reliability of deliveries were conditions always appreciated by our customers. Thanks to the expansion of the retail sector, we expanded our business up to Tuscany and Sardinia.

In this period the first phase of goods management on behalf of customers began. Substantially it was a “deposit”, in addition other services with higher added value have been added year after year.

During these years we mainly became a company logistic, managing the supply chain on behalf of customers, starting from the supplier’s booking phase until the reverse logistics. Equipments, facilities and company procedures were added in all our warehouses for a correct sorting of goods and a fast emptying of containers.

In 2006 we moved in to a new structure of 7.000 sqm in Villafranca Padovana, adequately equipped and with radio frequency in all the area for an efficient warehouse management, in order to offer to our customers an excellent service, expecting the market demands.

To the first structure we added additional spaces in Villafranca Padovana, for a total of 6.000 sqm, furthermore there are the structures located in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD), Limena (PD) and Noventa Padovana (PD) as well. We totally have warehouses equipped for 25.000 sqm.
